The Acorn Centre currently offers a wide range of activities & facilities for all. These activities, facilities, information & opening times are listed below:
The Cafe: Open Monday 11am - 5pm, Wednesday 10am - 4pm, Friday 11am - 5pm & now open Saturdays from 11am until 3:30pm. Drop in for a friendly chat & a drink. Cooked food and snacks are also available, all at reasonable prices.

Acorn Online: (The Computer Suite) Open on Monday between 11am - 5pm, Wednesday 10am - 4pm, Friday's between 11am - 5pm & now also open Saturdays from 11am - 3:30pm (Additional hours planned for the future including Evening opening). Membership is £1 if you are unwaged and £25 (payable quarterly) if you are waged. This price includes unlimited computer usage with free internet access and 2 free prints a session. Just call in or contact us for further information on the Computer Suite.

Computer Courses: A wide range of computer courses are also running. All free of charge. Please contact Grainge-Price Associates on 01706 839700 to book a place or for more information, or just call into the centre.
Crèche Facilities: For children under the age of 6. Open during the week. Available for a small charge. Open Mornings.
Counselling: If you would like to discuss anything in a relaxing, quiet environment with a counsellor please contact the centre (details available on the Contact's Page) to arrange an appointment. All information is confidential.
The Acorn Centre is accessible by all. There is a lift inside the building which gives access to all areas of the building. If you visit and are wheelchair bound please, either, use the intercom on the outside of the building or, if you are accompanied please do get your company to call in and we will be happy to arrange access for you. There is access via a ramp round the back of the centre or through the front entrance which has a fold-down ramp.
For parents with little children, there is no need to worry! The centre has baby changing facilities and toys for the children to play with while you are visiting the centre. All in a safe child's play room!
