There have recently been malicious rumours and innuendo referring to the Acorn Centre that have been posted on websites and spoken about which are not true.
Specifically it was circulated last weekend that the Charities Commission had closed the centre down. This is totally false and it is "business as usual". A very positive meeting has been held with representatives of the Charities Commission.

New Saturday Opening Hours
The Acorn Centre has now launched new Saturday opening hours. These are both for the cafe and cyber cafe. The Centre will be open from 11am until 3:30pm. As usual, the Cyber Cafe will be manned by volunteers who will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
